James Brown Website Services provides website design and setup services for small businesses. These policies describe the inquiry and project process. Your written proposal establishes the exact scope, timing, payment terms and any customer-specific conditions before you commit.
Inquiries are a conversation
Using the form or sending an email does not place an order, create a subscription, reserve a start date or authorize a charge. We first discuss what you need and prepare a proposal for review.
Packages and currency
- One-page website: $499 USD for one scrolling page with an agreed scope.
- Up-to-five-page website: $999 USD with an agreed page plan and scope.
- Both packages: two revision rounds, thirty days of small fixes and the site files with an instruction sheet. Customer-specific scope is confirmed in the proposal.
Domain registration, paid tools and optional services are separate. Any applicable taxes or additional costs are resolved before an invoice is issued. Extra work requires separate agreement; it is not charged automatically.
Deposits and balance
The deposit is 50% of the agreed package price: $249.50 USD for the one-page package or $499.50 USD for the up-to-five-page package. The matching remaining 50% is due at launch. No payment is requested until the proposal and payment arrangements have been agreed.
Cancellations and refunds
A deposit is refundable before build work begins. The start of work is documented. Cancellation and refund terms after work begins must be agreed in your written proposal before you make a payment. To discuss a cancellation or refund, email james-5175@agentmail.to with the project details.
Delivery and launch
These are custom digital services, with no physical shipping. Delivery milestones are agreed after scope, capacity, approved content, assets and any domain or contact-form dependencies are understood. We do not promise a fixed delivery date before that review.
You review the proposed pages before launch. A contact form is not considered ready until its designated inbox and reply behavior have been checked through an authorized receipt test.
Your content and ownership
You confirm the accuracy of business details and the right to use supplied images, logos, reviews and other content. Independent preview concepts are not official business websites and do not establish a paid-client relationship or endorsement.
Your domain is registered in your name and account. A new domain’s exact name, first-year price and renewal price require approval before purchase. Proposed changes to an existing domain or hosting setup are reviewed first, including their effect on existing email. You receive the site files and instructions so the static website can be moved to another provider.
Optional care and AI editing
Care is optional at $49 USD/month. Its scope, start date, recurring authorization, cancellation procedure and any third-party costs are agreed separately before enrollment. No recurring plan is automatically selected or sold through this website.
AI editing setup or support is separately scoped and priced. You use your own ChatGPT/Codex or Claude/Claude Code account and pay the provider directly. Provider plans, usage limits and available features apply. An editing handoff is complete only after an actual edit, review and restore demonstration succeeds with the client’s account.
